He's just the cutest baby in the world. I fall in love with him every time I look into his eyes. I'm so proud of my little boy and my little girl. Luke is growing right before us. He definitely looks larger than a 5 week old baby. Our Parents as Teachers lady came to visit last week and looked at me as if I were insane when I told her that Luke is able to push himself up on his elbows and turn his head from side to side. Really, he can. I haven't recorded the event on video, but it's the truth. He's a strong fella and he doesn't have that "rubber neck" syndrome. He started holding his head up in short intervals shortly after he came home from the hospital and has improved everyday since. I'm guessing he's going to be walking before his first birthday, just guessing. He still needs head support, of course, yet he does a lot on his own.
He's been sleeping next to me in mommy and daddy's bed at night time. It seems that I can get to him quicker, before he cries out and wakes everyone up. Judd and I put him in his Pack N Play to start out the night, and one of us ends up bringing him in. Judd is great at helping out. I know he is proud of his little boy. They are going to have a great time playing together. Susan, one of my dear friends, says, "He looks just like JUDD!" and he does. I'm one lucky girl who gets to live in a home with such handsome fellas!
Luke is calling...I better go!
